(By Nicole Smith, nsmith@heraldonline.com) ROCK HILL, S.C. -- A teen whose dog bit a woman Monday in front of a Rock Hill Family Dollar said it did so because it "was suffering separation anxiety from being away from its mother," according to police.

About 6:45 p.m. a 48-year-old Rock Hill woman was walking into the store on Albright Road and saw a 16-year-old sitting on a bench near the entrance holding a pit bill by the leash, according to a Rock Hill police report.
