Chemical Detergents May Make Gulf Oil Disaster Worse, Say Experts

Oil-dispersing chemicals used to clean the vast BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico carry their own environmental risks and could endanger marine creatures. The fears of wildlife watchdogs has led BP to halt use of the chemicals pending environmental assessment.
