A 14-month-old child ended up at the hospital after he was bitten in the head by a dog at a home in Huntersville.

(Observer Staff Reports) Thousands of dog and their owners are expected to gather Saturday in Huntersville for Mecklenburg's seventh Bark in the Park, a festival for canines and the people who love them.

The event has been moved this year to Rural Hill, on Neck Road off Beatties Ford Road.
