Pond was deathtrap for SC boys killed saving dog
(BY GLENN SMITH, gsmith@thestate.com) Shortly after school let out for the summer Friday, Adonous Green and Gary Adams grabbed their dog Biscuit and headed out for a walk down their rural country road.The two boys, both 12, lived in a foster home along a dusty, dirty lane that cuts through the pines. It's a rustic stretch that served as their football field, basketball court, bike path -- a quiet backwater where they could run free and explore.
